Tuesday the 17th was the first day of my personal training. I must say I was really nervous and excited at the same time. I didn’t know what to expect, the first day was really just to see where I am physically so there is an idea on how to move forward. I didn’t do too too much, but I definitely feel it in my legs. Must have been those darn squats.
My first day of walking was a bit challenging. I have spent all winter hibernating, getting no physical activity whatsoever and after ten minutes of walking I was ready to give up but I pushed through it and made it to the twenty minute mark and felt great afterward.
Even more challenging right now is what I am eating. I haven’t had a chance to make it to the grocery store to stock up on healthy foods but I have tried to make good choices. But, I have been drinking about four thirty-two ounce bottles of water a day which is helping me not feel the need to eat out of boredom and keeps me away from sodas. I don’t mind drinking water as long as its cold. =)
It was a bit rainy and chilly the past couple of days so I didn’t get to walk but once so I’m going first thing after work to the park and have another go at it. I’m so excited for this weeks workouts.
