Despite all the rain this week it turned out pretty good. I lost 4 pounds, which makes me happy after not losing any for two weeks. I started taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator and even though it makes me huff and puff when I get to the top it also makes me feel good afterward knowing I did it. I work on the top floor so its about six sets of 10 or 12 stairs. I also did the stairs in the parking garage, and I’m on the 4th floor there and each time it seems to get a little bit easier.
I looked back on what I ate this week and I ate a lot of pasta. I don’t know how that happened but Im sure that’s not good so, that’s something I am going to try to cut down on. I also started drinking water before I eat and it really makes a difference. I felt fuller faster and got my water in at the same time.
Even though I have a long ways to go, this week I started seeing and feeling more definition in my leg muscles and it really boosted my motivation to keep on going.
