Week 16: Sister Support

My sister and I have been walking together once a week for the last couple of weeks and it’s really enjoyable. We haven’t been so close in the past, but this has given us the opportunity to talk and get exercise at the same time. We even have fun with it. There is a lady that walks the opposite direction but in  the same subdivision as my sister and I. We laugh and make jokes and start power walking saying ” We gotta beat her, don’t let her get ahead of us, look back, where is she.”  My sister has  also been really encouraging with my weight loss. It just feels great that a simple walk has brought us closer.

Oh yeah, I lost another 2 lbs this week! That’s 29 lbs so far. Come on 30!!! =)
