Week 30: A Little Frustrated

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

This week went by fast.  It’s starting to get darker sooner and a lot cooler too. I still havent lost any weight. I’ve started taking fish oil which is doing good at being an appetite suppressant for me. But I’m honestly starting to get  really down about not losing more weight. I just need to remember that it happens sometimes and not get stuck in that mood. If I do I might start emotional eating like I used to and all of my hard work will be for nothing.

Week 29: Getting Cold Outside

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Fall weather is definitely here and just as I had to tolerate being outside walking in the heat  this summer so will I have to learn to just bundle up and try to move faster in the cold. I only lost one pound this week. I will say I am a little disappointed, but I’m not giving up!

The holidays are fast approaching and they will be a challenge for me when it comes to eating, but I am going to try my hardest to eat healthy and not only healthy but be mindful when eating.

Week 28: Back On Track

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

This week I finally got back on track.  It had been two weeks since I last worked out and my body could definitely tell.  I’ve been given some exercise to do on my own.  It’s hard without having someone there to monitor me, but I’m going to do my best.  I’m trying to get my friends to do some with me, but that hasn’t worked out so good.

I didn’t weigh myself this week because I was out of town, so I’m not sure if I lost any weight.  Next we will see if being back on track and the extra exercise helped out.

Week 27: Great Week!

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

I had a great week! I ate good and I walked five out of seven days. I lost the three pounds that I gained back and now I’m at 316lbs. That means I’ve lost 40lbs and also this week I was measured to see how many inches I have lost. I have lost about 5 inches from my waist and a couple from my arms. Hearing that was great motivation to get back on track and have a great week that I was determined to have(which I did!) This working out and losing weight thing isn’t easy but it is definitely worth it when you see your hard work is paying off.
